EXCURSIONS

Thanks to its proximity to many important “meeting points”, this place is perfect as a starting point to start visiting the most beautiful treasures of the Calabria region. Some of the most characteristic historical centres , with important monuments like nearby Cosenza with its large centre of ancient origins, characterized by a series narrow streets with a series of buildings of great prestige  and its beautiful 13^th century Cathedral(Duomo).These places are easy to get to by train or car. Then there’s the gorgeous village of Fiumefreddo Bruzio a real and proper balcony over the sea and where one can admire even the most beautiful paintings by Salvatore Fiume Terrazza. 

From the sea to the mountains in just a few kilometres for excursions to the nearby area of Lorica, situated in the Sila Grande (about 40 km from Village) or for a more intense experience one can enjoy the beauty of the landscape and the sea has to offer at the Isole Eolie reachable from the Cetraro port(30km from the Village).
There is something for everyone, even those who love the wellbeing gained from the thermal treatments at the Terme Luigiane approximately 30 minutes from Villaggio Bahja.
